We are happy to introduce our family "Loft" unit 

available for longer stays and larger groups.

What better way to experience the bounty of Maine than in your own harbor view "apartment"! Bring back fresh foods from the local Farmers' Markets or the lobster pound and enjoy them - and the view of Belfast harbor - in the comfort of "your own home". 

Enjoy any (or all!) of the four seasons in beautiful Belfast, Maine.


                            

  • Apartment, complete with full kitchen, gas fireplace, full bath 

  • Open floor plan can accommodate 5

  • Private entrance separate from the main inn 

  • For stays of five days or longer

  • Kitchen stocked with basic "starter" staples, equipment and dishware - includes coffee maker, blender and toaster (sorry, no dishwasher)

  • Air Conditioned

  • Separate deck with view of Belfast Harbor

  • No breakfasts or maid service provided for five-day or weekly rentals. 

  • Weekly cleaning will be provided for monthly rentals. Clean linens will be provided each week.

  • The Suite is a non-smoking area.

Suite Specifics


  • The apartment has an open floor plan, with loft styling, permitting 5 to sleep comfortably.

    Queen-sized bed in "bedroom area"

    Twin sleeper sofa

    Twin Aero bed available for additional bed

  • Living area amenities include a small gas fireplace, wing-backed chair, rocker, and Queen sleeper sofa
  • Table and chairs for family dining and playing games are provided.
  • TV / DVD player with cable, and stereo/CD player provided.

         

  • Full kitchen (no dishwasher) has high and low bar to provide conversational seating - great when groups gather to prepare special meals! 
  • Full-sized refrigerator and stove, microwave and coffee-maker provided. Basic "starter" staples provided.
  • Dishes, pots and pans and basic staples are provided for your use. Yes, there is a lobster pot!!

 


              

  • Private deck overlooks the Harbor View House gardens, Belfast harbor and Penobscot Bay beyond.
  • Enjoy lovely (early!) sunrises and "reverse sunsets" (ask us!) while relaxing at the  small table and chairs or in the glider chairs on deck.

Suite Booking Policies

Payment


Due upon making your vacation rental reservation:

  • 50% of the total rent due

  • Security deposit of 25%

Due 2 weeks prior to check-in:

  • Balance of the rent 

We will contact you with details on check-in at time of receipt of final payment.

Security Deposit Returns
Security deposits are returned after an inspection insures that the property has been left in acceptable condition within 30 days of your departure.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing and must be delivered prior to your arrival date

If the cancellation is 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, payments for the rent, taxes, and security deposit will be returned to you.

For cancellations less than 30 days, we will attempt to find a substitute tenant  If a substitute tenant is found, all payments for rent, tax and security deposit will be returned to you. If we do not find a substitute tenant, we will retain 25% of the rent, and the rest of the deposit, tax and security deposit will be returned to you.

          • PERSONAL or CASHIER'S CHECK
                  


 Useful Information for Suite Guests


  • Local Coop Market, for food and wine, available three blocks away. Larger Hannaford grocery store about 2 miles from suite.

  • Local Farmers' Market every Friday from May - October in Downtown Belfast - walk to it!. 

  • Young's Lobster Pound in East Belfast provides lobster and steamers - to cook yourself or just have them cook 'em and bring them home to enjoy on your deck!

  • Laundromat is available 3 blocks away for your laundry needs (sorry - no onsite laundry facilities).

  • Wi fi available at the Belfast Public Library and at Bay Wraps and Scoops Ice Cream on Main Street. Also available at Mr. Paperback at the Reny's Plaza.
